I am a theoretical physicist, and my research is mainly in General Relativity. My primary research interests vary from year to year, but recently my main focus has been on quasinormal modes of black holes, the cosmic censorship conjectures, superradiance, and analogue models of gravity.
I was educated at the University of Campinas (Unicamp), from where I received a B.Sc. degree in Physics (2005), a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics (2008) and a Ph.D. in Physics (2011) under the supervision of Prof. Alberto Saa. I have spent extended periods of time as a visiting researcher at the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA), Italy, and at the University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada.
I am willing to supervise new students (both undergraduate and graduate research). If you are interested, please contact me by email.
